Meet Kopaonik – the 82km-long mountain chain that stretches all the way through Southern Serbia and one of the most popular ski resorts in this part of Europe. The mountain has first class skiing trails for alpine and Nordic skiing, snow-making system and plenty of trails for night skiing. This gorgeous mountain range is a natural reserve of extraordinary importance, with an incredible natural potential of about 250 sunny days a year, hence the nickname “Sunny Mountain”.
Some skiers describe Kopaonik as “probably the Europe’s most scenic ski route”. The area of approximately 62 000 m of trails is carefully groomed for alpine skiing, taking you through popular and traditional routes, endless dense forest, marshlands
and plateaus. The altitude of the Ski Resort is 1770 m, the highest peak on 2017m. All the runs are well connected with a system of 24 chairlifts and ski lifts, with an overall capacity of over 34 000 skiers per hour.
